YMCMB Rapper Drake woke up in a new Bugatti

YMCMB artist Drake just made a new purchase of one of the fastest production sports cars on the planet. A black Bugatti Veyron. For those who are unfamiliar with the $1.2 million dollar sports car, the Bugatti Veyron is in a league of its own and very few cars on the road would give it any type of problem on the street or race track. YMCMB artist Drake is best known for his hit song "Started from the Bottom", Drake is no stranger to the car collection world, hes been seen around Hollywood pulling up in numerous custom exotic whips.

The Bugatti Veyron holds a specific and certain type of social status in the car world, and one of those are the "I have money" stereo types. You don't get a Bugatti Veyron because you want to, you get a Veyron because you can.

They Veyron may look big but make no mistake this car has been upwards of 260 plus miles per hour on a 2 mile runway. If thats not impressive then we dont know what is. The Veyron can also get from 0-60 in just 2.5 seconds and makes over 1000 horsepower. This is obtained by an intercooled Doch-64 W16 engine with not one, not two but four turbochargers. The Veyron needs every bit of that horsepower with weight numbers of an old school SL500.  In a straight line at your local dragstrip the Veyron can run 10.80's @ over 140 mph. Catch Drake in this car at a stop light, unless your in an Underground Racing Twin Turbo Gallardo or an Alpha Omega GTR your best bet would be to turn the other way. The Veyron mixes class with speed which makes it a very unique automobile.

Not that its possible to drive the Veyron on public roads at 260 mph, and the team at Roadstarr would definitely never recommend wreck less driving on the streets, the Veyron can also be considered an over sized luxury cruiser. This car makes a bold statement anywhere it goes.

However, the Veyron only gets 7 miles per gallon so we can only assume there wont be much cruising unless its to your local Chevron gas station for a fill up. If you have access to a track the Veyron gets no more then 3 mpg at 253 miles per hour. Which would basically mean you can watch the needle drop as you step on the gas during spirited driving.

If your in the market for a Veyron you only hope is to find one used, the Bugatti Veyron has turned no profit and will not be produced anymore unless upon special request.

2014 BMW F10 M5 Competition Package

With all the excitement and talk of the new 2014 575hp Mercedes E63 AMG, many BMW M5 enthusiasts were left wondering how the M team would respond. Well the answer could be here, the 2014 BMW M5 Competition Package.  The current standard BMW F10 M5 equipped with the twin turbo driven 4.4L V8 pushes out 560 horsepower but with the new Competition Package the F10 M5 will get a 15 horsepower boost pushing that number to 575 horsepower which is spot on with the all new 2014 Mercedes Benz E63 AMG. You can say the German 4 door horsepower wars have officially started.

Not only does the new F10 M5 get a slight boost in horsepower it will also be available in new color choices and exterior lighting updates. The F10 M5 will still be equipped with the 7-Speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) and 6-Speed manual transmission which is only available for the US spec model. The new Competition Pack will not only be available in the new F10 M5 but will also be available in the M6 and M3 models boosting horsepower output. The chassis have also been spec tuned to make the F10 M5 handle even better then before which will result in some great lap times at the world famous Nurburgring racetrack. The Nurburgring is the standard that most car companies use to measure the performance of their cars.

The Competition Package will bring the F10 M5's 0-60 time down from 3.6 seconds to 3.4 and a quarter mile time in the mid 11's which will put it back in the running with the new 2014 Mercedes Benz E63 AMG.

The F10 will once again recieve the famous iDrive 4.2 system with a small update. You can expect to see the new M5 for sale later this year and in the hands of many tuners and customization boutiques as early as the next few months. Roadstarr Motorsports plans to release a Black Edition F10 M5 in the near future that will not only add to the already sleek exterior design but will have a custom tune that will boost horsepower.

Lamborghini unveils Egoista Concept for "selfish supercar owners"

With no warning at all here it is, the unexpected Lamborghini Egoista. Revealed  by Lamborghini's President and CEO Stephen Winkelmann at the Swedish Super Car event a few days ago. We quickly learned that the Egoista stood for "Selfish" in which Lamborghini describes this car as the ultimate machine for selfish super car lovers. Why? you may ask, well its simple the Egoista only has one seat and to enter the vehicle you must first remove the steering wheel, climb inside and re insert the steering wheel. Not that being a super car owner makes you selfish but this car was specifically made for the driver and the driver only, so if you plan on taking out a hot date this is not the car for you.

The Egoista's heart is powered by a 5.2 liter V10 engine and the car itself was inspired by the Apache Helicopter. The Egoista was designed by the head of the Volkswagen Group Walter De Silva who specifically designed the exterior and interior based on the Apache. So to no surprise the interior itself resembles that of a jet fighter. The heads up display is right above the removable steering wheel. The entire frame of the Egoista is made of Carbon Fiber and the cockpit is covered by an orange anti-glare glass that is made of anti-radar material. De Silva also says the cockpit is completely made of Carbon Fiber and Aluminum, with the thought of a survival cell in mind that allowed the driver to protect themselves at all times against debris from the outside.

Walter De Silva says himself that he did in fact design the car to look as if it were a bull preparing to charge at you with its horns down. The car has two white front lights, two red rear tail lights, a red flashing light in the upper part of the tail and two orange bull like eyes as side markers and if that's not enough lights there are two more on the roof that will for sure let you know this thing is on the road at night.

As for the 5.2 liter V10, this engine has been used in numerous Lamborghini models however, Lamborghini has not yet released the specs on the engine but they are said to be over 600 plus horsepower. The Engine sits in the rear of the Egoista. What De Silva would refer to as "the tail of the bull".

If you plan to add one of these to your garage think again because De Silva says that no one will ever drive this car...

Lamborghini waves Goodbye the Gallardo. What will replace it?

Making its debut in early 2003 as Lamborghini's entry level model, the Gallardo was introduced to the public with a custom tuned 5.2 liter V10 based on Audi's 4.2 liter. The Gallardo could be had in both a 6 speed manual transmission and a 6 speed E-Gear. Although Lamborghini is known for its trademark rising doors, the Gallardo however is one of the first models to get regular doors. Over the years the Gallardo has dramatically improved in both looks and performance measures. Although the Gallardo era is coming to an end after an 8 year production run, it has most definitely left its mark in the car world.

Comparing the 2003 Base model Gallardo to the recent 2013 model being offered today shows the evolution of Lamborghini. The Gallardo has sold over 13,000 units which for an exotic with a price tag of over $100,000 is a true success for Audi and Lamborghini.  Though the first Gallardo was criticized for its lacking performance early on, it has come a long way since that with models such as the LP 560-4 and the LP 570-4 that earned the Gallardo much respect around popular tracks such as the Nurburgring.

What may come to a suprise is the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo will be the very last Lamborghini offered in a full manual stick transmission as it is now becoming a thing of the past. But based on sells the E-Gear Gallardos outsold the manual 6-Speed models by a good margin. The manual gearbox's were described by owners as complicated, slow and hard to use.

The last model is yet to be named but it is a lightweight stripped version that is not all wheel drive but rear wheel drive.

Lamborghini states that the replacement will be very obvious yet not very revealing. With Ferrari releasing new models every year, its no wonder Lamborghini has decided to do the same. The Team over over at Roadstarr Motorsports has seen its fair share of Gallardos and will be sad to see them go, but most know Lamborghini never disappoints so we can all rest assured that the replacement will be 2x better and more up to date.
